The Ranch House is the “Big House” on this small, working cattle ranch located between Bonham and Ector in historic Fannin County, Texas. Owned by Craig Buford, this operation raises and develops quality replacement heifers for sale to other ranchers. 

    When you want to have a taste of rural America, this may be just the spot. On any given evening, as you sit on the back deck enjoying the beautiful Texas sunset, while cattle graze up to the backyard fence just to see what you’re doing. Calving time is generally January-March and there’s nothing more fun than watching newborn calves running and jumping. You may see cowboys working cattle in the pens, hauling in new cows or shipping others out, feed trucks taking care of cows in the winter and hay being stacked in the summer.
