He has been in the Real Estate business for over 30 years and in the auction industry for 20 years. During this time, he has conducted numerous real estate and personal property auctions. Corky is a member of the National Auctioneers Association, Oklahoma Auctioneers Association, Kansas Auctioneers Association, Texas Auctioneers Association, and the National Association of Realtors.
Corky graduated from the Missouri Auction School in 2003. In 1987, he graduated from Southwestern Oklahoma State University with a B.A. in Business Administration and a minor in Marketing. While attending college, he received his Oklahoma Real Estate License and in 1986, he received his Oklahoma Real Estate Broker’s License. He has developed several residential areas and built numerous homes. Simultaneously, while running a full-service Real Estate business, he co-founded Flashback Memorabilia, a brick and mortar antique store. From 1992 to 2003, as co-owner, Corky coordinated and developed online internet sales as well as the live auction portion of the business, marketing and selling to an international client base.
In 2003, Corky established Heard Auction & Real Estate, LLC, a full-service Real Estate & Auction company. Corky oversees sales, management, auctions, and business development. Corky and his wife, Missy, have made their home in Clinton, OK, and have two grown daughters, Jessica and Harley.
