This spacious three bedroom two bath brick home is located on a large corner lot near downtown Mangum. It is walking distance to the downtown square, post office and shops. There is a two car garage that currently is also used for an outdoor shop. There is room for an RV to be parked on the lot. The outstanding features of this home are firstly, the family room, with large bay window. This was originally a dining area, but current owners just make an enormous living room out of the space. The custom kitchen cabinetry, china hutch and island are quite unique with their country charm. The bedrooms all have plenty of room for your furniture and belongings. There is a very large patio area on the north side of the home with lots of room for outdoor cooking and lounging. The backyard is cross fenced for the family’s dogs. This allows two spaces - one for the pets and one for the family activities like gardens, swings, etc. The home is in Mangum, which is only about 25 minutes from Altus for additional shopping, restaurants and Altus Air Force Base.
Stacey and her husband Steven recently retired from their family cow-calf operation, and grass-fed, grass-finished beef business. The family still owns the ranch in Greer County, Oklahoma and they now use it for recreation for the family. The ranch is abundant with wildlife, like whitetail deer, dove, turkey and quail which offers the opportunity to share hunting experiences with guests, friends and family. Stacey is a member of the Oklahoma and Texas and Southwest Cattle Raisers Associations, Quail Coalition, National Deer Association and National Wild Turkey Federation.
Stacey is grateful to live in rural Oklahoma. Life is just more peaceful and relaxing in the country. United Country and UC Hunting Properties Powered by RealTree were the obvious choice for her. When she read on their website, “We’ve helped America rediscover a dream that’s as old as America itself; love of the land and the dream of owning property” she knew that they felt the same way she did. This appreciation for the land and the ability to share it with others is why she chose real estate as her career.
She is eager to help you with all of your real estate needs and happy to show you all that Southwest Oklahoma has to offer.
